Dec 24, As a special service to residents, the city of Maricopa will again provide a way to dispose of Christmas trees while keeping Maricopa beautiful and free of fire hazards. A Christmas Tree Drop-Off site has been designated at West Garvey Ave. and Honeycutt Road (on the west side of SR ).Estimated Reading Time: 50 secs. Residents can dispose of their yard waste at any of our 6 Recycling Centers.

Mulching green organics diverts these compostable materials from our landfill and is healthy for our environment. Benefits of this project include reduced erosion on landfill surfaces and provide a vegetative cover on barren land surfaces to be established.

Dec 26, Beginning today through Jan. 25 residents can dispose of Christmas trees at the corner of Garvey Avenue and Honeycutt Road, just west of State Route The City of Maricopa will be allowing residents to rid of their Christmas trees. The drop-off location will be at W. Garvey (just follow the signs). Please ensure that all decorations have been removed from the tree.
